Hive Live 1 was held in April 2005 at The Australian Youth Hotel in Glebe. Featured were eight bands with Keith Newman playing drums for all of the groups! It was a first for me as well, because I fronted most of the bands without a guitar on! I felt naked :) There were about 130 music supporters and the day was a great success. In the raffle, the first prize was a blue acoustic steel string guitar and was won by a student called Liam, who also performed in Hive Live 2.
